What is a super productive vegetable bed / banana circle bed?
Here are the basic steps to creating a vegetable, fruit and even flower bed that can grace your garden anywhere in the world with any amount of space from 0, 5 m across to 2m across.
Shape
The shape of the bed is circular with an entrance on the side that is most uphill on your chosen spot so as to allow any rain fall that is travelling through your garden to be channelled into the centre of the bed
In some permaculture circles this bed is referred to as a banana circle, as it is very effectively used to grow banana and pawpaw trees.
My modification allows for vegetables and other fruits to also be combined successfully
